Very random, but as I was reading over your post, Fredi, your bit in Happy New Year came on...and I got a weird look from my neighbor because I was laughing

LMFAO
I've read a couple of Bradbury. I liked Fahrenheit 451 which I had to read in 9th grade L.A., but loved it a lot. I also like the few episodes of the original Twilight Zone he wrote as well. Very cool.

Hey Viva i like your icon.

Bradbury's Martian Chronicles are my favorite. He seems to like the whole banned book theme- the short story "Usher II" is another take on that in which the protagonist protests brilliantly.
ETA: And We're Okay- the thing is on random, I swear- just came on.

hey racetrack...
thanks for the info---didn't know he wrote TZ - a GREAT show I might add - especially in the early years...
do you know which episodes?
I remember reading a book in 7th grade. I cant remember the title or the author, but it was a bout a man running away from another man in a desert, and like, the whole book was different inventive ways the main character slipped past the bad guy.
INtriguing huh? I liked it. I remember that much..
Racetrack, thank you :)
I turned it off, I couldn't take it!
Gwen Stefani just drove me mad...
Are you thinking of the hunting Game?
Or was that the movie?
I know Johny Leguizamo made a spoof on it in The Pest...

So I understand but I don't comprehend? Is that glokking?
Fredi, I like your signature (rock on, cam), but I disagree. Stupidity IS painful. My brain certainly hurts when some people open their mouths.
Yes I do. He wrote two episodes. "The Burning Man" and "The Elevator". I love the old episodes. I actually took a class a couple of summers ago that revolved around The Twilight Zone.
Your welcome Viva.

som - if you *grok* someone it means you TOTALLY understand them - not just intellectually - but spiritually - emotionally -even cellularly (and I mean as in atoms not phones
That's interesting. Didn't know that.

Oooooh. That is quite a compliment, then. I love that word, it needs to be used. Too bad most people wouldn't understand the definition. Must get that book.
Or, if you grok some1 you are being with them....
