black women spend so much of their lives stressing over their hair (and spend SO MUCH OF THEIR MONEY BUYING OTHER PEOPLE'S HAIR!!!) so you understand why (after a lifetime of hair angst) I would always encourage anyone who grows it easily to keep it...
(and the guy thing is for real too...)
I finally got over my hair issues when I locked - and they are now down to my butt and I love every inch of them.... I trim them every 6 months to stop them from looking ratty - but that's all the cutting I'm going to do...
for the first time in my life - every inch of hair on my head is MINE!!!
Does big, hairy feet turn you on?
Exactly, race. I used to have my hair in a pixie cut because I was obsessed with Bebe Neuwirth as Velma Kelly. I'm so happy I grew it out.
No, but distributing hot pictures of hobbits makes me feel like a pimp

You've got the bone structure to suppport short hair shub - but you've got more versatility with it...
casting wise that is...
That was funny....
That's cool. My hair'd look like **** if I had it in that style. It'd probably be frizzy or something.
"Nobody started calling me Mademoiselle until I was 17 and gettin' a little bone structure."
Sorry, Fredi, you activated my extensive movie quote library. Thank you for that. I agree, I can do more with it.
That's cuz you are Shub! you are!
hehe
My hair is definately a recognizable feature.. I am pleased to say it is very healthy. I hate seeing people with really l ong hair that is ratty at the ends.. Major Pet peeve.. It's called trim it, make it look good, dont just go for length.. I am either very lucky that it grows fast, or very unlucky.. couldn't keep it short if I tried.. last time I cut it all off it was back to my waste within a year..

don't forget wigs kids!!!
great!! -- total style, color, texture and look changes with no damage to your own hair!!1
got a drawer full of 'em
Love em!!
Do you use a particular shampoo, cam?
I would love to get some wigs, Fredi, but they're so expensive! The only ones I can get are cheap ratty ones from Ricky's and those don't look particularly good. But I want to go auburn red one day. I'm curious to see how I'd look.

nite 2b...
shub - what's the dealio?
I think Cher is a wig on earth.
I love wigs.. they are great for freaking people out.. I have several..
Hey Tgif.. come on in!
Shub.. I switch off between two types of shampoo.. either matrix amplify shampoo and conditioner, or Abba creme moist/moisture sensation shampoo.. Also I switch up the abba conditioners too.. either recoupe, moisture sensation of nurishing conditioner.. And this may gros some of you out, but I dont wash it everyday either.. That keeps it from drying out.. if I washed it everyday it would break and look horrible. Luckily my hair is anything but oily.
Wigs hmmm? Always wanted to try them. My hair is freakishly thin, and i don't have alot of it! *sigh* The trick is finding a GOOD wig right?
Ellie, maybe not all, but i would say most.
