Idolize Julie. She's the reason I want to act. I kid you not. I was 3, made the connection that Mary Poppins was the same person as Maria from "The Sound Of Music". Knew that if that was possible, that's what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Then TWoO is my favorite MGM movie-musical, because I could watch that movie over and over and over.... though Wicked (book AND show) has kind of made me look at it in a slightly different light.

*highfives broadway_star* My mother and aunt passed their love of Julie down to me. I grew up on Mary Poppins.
ok kids, I'm out for the night. The department chair just stuck his head into my office and told me they're locking up the building for the night.
This is why I need a key to the building.
Edit- I have 10 minutes.

I can't wait to see the stage show of Mary. I used to have the soundtrack tape somewhere...and lost it. But I have this massive Disney CD set that has the best songs, though.
