bs2b - I hear you dear, and I sympathize. Notice I've been the one keeping your memorandum to the Wicklynites alive. You must help in the bumping. The Force Is With You.
I'm so shocked and angered beyond words. I haven't even posted on that thread because it makes me so mad.
Som - What's your word limit?
Shub - How's your XMas been going? I haven't seen you around lately!

Star, they were tragically melted by Idina's tween fans who were trying to diminish the crowd around the stagedoor in order to make sure she heard their squeals.
Tiff, I'm actually feeling ok about my statement. It doesn't have a conclusion yet, but I managed to edit quite a bit out of it. My professor and my English major best friend are proofreading it, and I am giving myself the next 47 minutes to not think about it. But I'm feeling less stressed over it, I guess.
Hi BS2B. It's ok. I hate them too.
Totally agreed, Tiff. It's obscene. My Xmas was fine. I'm sorry I'm not around - I get busy and run around a lot. I'm not on the computer constantly like I am at my dorm. At home I have to use my mother's computer. I'll make an effort to post more I hate having to catch up.

I'm not even going to try to catch up here... By the time I got done Christmas would've rolled around again.

Tiff, it has to be less than ten pages. Length is not an issue, I just need to get going and I'm completely at a loss for topics.
I was randomly seized by a coffee-fueled desire to reread the ENTIRE thread....that stopped around p. 25
Oh no shub, the main board
I'm stuck in FL till Feb
Tiff, thanx so much for bumping that thread of mine, it's just BWW isn't the only place I've had to deal with it.
The Q forum has had the two nastiest lil trolls for weeks and we don't have a moderator so we've been stuck in that situation by ourselves (although Rob's been helping out a bit).
It's as if I'm not safe, no matter where I go.
Seriously though, Kristin was my HERO in middle school and I have always respected Idina's work in Rent, but these horrible children are literally making me sick to my stomach. I don't mean to sound possessive, I know I don't OWN these actresses, and I know I should be happy that more kids are getting into theatre. I'm just so... GAH! I'm sorry
Creative writing. Hm. Does it have to be one story or can it be a series of vignettes or something?
That's a F*CKing psychotic idea, b_s_t. You'd kill yourself.
Som - Did you say it needs to be fiction? I could of course scroll up and re-read your post. But I'm lazy. Really. Lazy.
Tiff, it was like 3am...I had been awake for 30 hours, no one was on, and the only CD I had with me was the BKLYN soundtrack.
b_s_t, what on earth did you slip into your coffee to get such an urge
6 shots of espresso!

Star, I was just talking to NTG about this. You can genuinely look up to what an actor has accomplished and seem intelligent enough to really care about the performer enough to express that but keep a respectful distance at the same time. Sadly, a lot of people don't do that.
I totally understand, star2b. It's very sad. They don't realize that Idina is a person and not just an AMAZING FABULOUS CELEBRITY ELPHABA WOW. They can't understand that she's not just there for them to adore.
And a lot of them geuninely think she owes them autographs, and think she's a Bitch for not wanting to be their best friend.
It's not just a matter of not understanding. They. Just. Don't. Care. It's incomprehensible. One girl effing SCREAMED IN HER FACE AND MADE HER DROP HER COFFEE and was proud enough of it to recount that to us!

The key word is 'proud'. That's what makes me really mad.
Or not speaking to them when what they have to say is so absolutely fascinating and earth-shattering. That woman has gone through so much SH*T, and no one steps into her shoes for a damn minute.
Because it means she actually got close to Idina, and therefore is the coolest person ever.
Tiff, exactly! I love how she tells the coffee story so damn proudly. Does she not realize how psycho it is to scream at someone like that?? Jesus.
SCREAMED IN HER FACE AND MADE HER DROP HER COFFEE
that alone was enough to make me throw up
sweet suffering Jesus, there is absolutely no respect!!!!
bs2b, did you see that story? (I think I saw your posts on that thread.) She actually yelled "OH MY GOD IT'S IDINA AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and wonders why everyone's so aghast at it!
How dare someone start a thread voicing their disappointment towards Idina over not signing. How despicable and selfish.

And the worst part is that there is no way to get that through to them. I feel like I ought to apologize to Idina for them and beg her not to run away to Zimbabwe and change her name. She's probably considering it, with nuts like that running after her and ruining her Starbucks.
It literally scares me. I mean, I know these kids mean well, but JESUS.
How do they not realize how inappropriate their behavior is?
