my mom and i were walking in NYC (hating tourists) and she was rushing and almost knocked over this other girl.

But that's OK, since one time she was rushing and knocked over a sign to get through - of course, yours truly had to pick it up and look like an idiot...(what else is new for me, though?)

yeah, it's my old job at borders. i only left because my availability over the summer didn;t jive with what they wanted.

it's a good job, pays ok, great people. and i will be able to transfer to a store near whereever i go to grad school. plus, they're good about giving me time off for auditions.
