Physics is supposed to be murder at my school. If I don't take that in 2 years it'll either be AP Chem or Bio, and I hate Bio so far....

i really hated honors bio while i was taking it (mostly because of the teacher), but looking back on it now, i really enjoyed it. (the 720 on the SAT II helped lean my opinions towards positive, i'm sure) it is definitely my favorite science subject out of bio, chem, physics, and earth science. and it's the second-to-easiest (after e.s.) so enjoy it now, staci.
senior year i have to take AP something, and i think i'm gonna take bio.
so, honors physics isn't a good idea? in my school, i've heard AMAZING things about the teachers, though.

Well, my problems stem from mostly my teacher (who is nice, but her style makes the class a MILLION times harder for me, and I am far from a natural at math and science).
But the class (at least the AP at my school) just takes the rudimentary concepts I learned in regular physics frosh year and adding an extra depth and complexity. So it's like the first few sections of the chapter I can get, but the farther in I go the more confused and befuddled I get.
But I know a lot of people in my class who love it, so...my advice would be if you liked physics a lot, take it. But if you were only so-so with physics, see if you can sit in on a class or something or talk to people who have been in that class before.
Personally, I liked physics more than bio, but I wish I had taken AP Bio this year instead of AP Physics. But that's just me...
It may just be the teacher, she hasn't taught everything we'll need tor the SAT II yet, despite having taught the general topic. I also had an excellent teacher for ES, and he made it allot of fun.

staci, if you do take the SAT II, TAKE MOLECULAR. the average score in ecology has ALWAYS been lower. always. since the SAT II's began. a couple of my friends decided to be difficult and they took ecology, and got a lower score than the rest of us who took molecular.
Thanks, I'll remember that for when I have to register.

you're welcome.
but you don't choose when you register, you choose during the test. when you're finished with the general part, you just do either molecular or ecology. so, you probably could take both then put which ever one you feel better with on the answer sheet, but i doubt you'd have time for that. that would be 100 questions in an hour.

ok, guys... since i actually seem to have a LIFE lately, i'm seeing in good company with a couple of friends. if we decide to walk somewhere afterwards i probably wont be able too *throws her crutches across the room then curses them out* (even though i've been craving starbucks) so i should be back to talk when FREDI GETS BACK!! yayy! i've really missed you, fredi. lol
I might have to leave early tonight since I've been sick for the past few days. I'll stay as late as I can manage, mostly so I don't have to read 20+ pages tomorrow morning.

I have been putting it off until tonight - leaving tomorrow...
I manage to do that for everything. I'll end up doing it when I go to L.A. in February, and camp in late June, just wait...
