Starbucks peppermint hot chocolate is AMAZING!

Makes me wish it was x-mas all over again just so I could get a cup...hmmm, I may have to try concocting my own version *starts mumbling to self and planning experiments*

yeah, they have all the syrup flavors all year round, they just don't have it writtent that they have it, since its more of a holiday thing.

It's the same thing with coffee, I cannot stand the tase of straight coffee, but add a little caramel...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Dangit, now I really want to go to Starbucks. Which means I will have to get up early tomorrow...*sigh* the woes of the addicted.

i'm not really an addict, i just treat myself once in a while. it's too expensive for my $10 allowance that my dad forgets to give me all the time. i just told him today that he owes me 3 weeks, and he didn't believe me. what, like he can't give up 10 measley dollars? *end rant*

I can still remember the days of my ignorant youth when I though coffee was yukki...haha, then I was introduced to starbucks and the caramel macchiato (sp?) and all such uneducated thoughts were thrown out the car window.

Pah. I haven't had allowance since I was 14 years old. Get a job, m'dear!

I can empathize about lack of cash though. It doesn't go away when you're older! And Starbucks on a $10/week allowance won't cut it.

Exactly, Irish! I hated it when I was younger (although I always like the smell), then started drinking fraps, then "real coffee", and now I'm addicted to macchiatos. I can't go my day without one. Which is expensive, and kind of sad.

If you like it a bit stronger and bitter, ask to get your espresso "long". It's something to do with running hot water over the beans so it extracts more caffeine, and I LOVE it.

yeahhh i know. but my parents give me money for the essentials, like food, but starbucks isn't essential. and i really don't have time for a job. volunteering once a week already takes away 4 hours that i could be doing homework.

of course, once this semester ends TOMORROW i'll have a lot more time on my hands. i haven't watched TV in weeks. i haven't left the house for something other than school in a month.

If you work at Starbucks, do you get a discount? Ha, or you can figure out how to make everything and then can concoct your own drinks at home...

OR, you can keep on making 'wrong' drinks every now and then that don't get claimed so you can then drink them. Muhahaha.

b_s_t used to work for Bucks (now she just works for F*CKs. go figure.) so you should ask her. it might be different for each store. ive got a friend here in vancouver who said she got 1 free pound of coffee a week, and then 40% (or 50%) off merchandise.
