WHY?

Of course, this is digitally edited into the photo, but still--WHY? And most importantly, WHY didn't they ask the students about this? This Walking to the Sky sculpture is HIDEOUS, and the fact that it's taller than everything else on campus will make the finished structure stick out even more than necessary, especially since it's right up near Forbes Avenue.

Now my question for you: Does a 100-foot pole with people attached to it turn you off from applying to the school, or is it not as dreadful as most of the student body thinks it is?
