Every year about this time I sit back and watch this Disney movie. I truly love this film. I wish I was alive to see it back on TV with Walt doing the introductions each week.I hope Disney NEVER remakes this film. I'm sure like the Lone Ranger and John Carter, they won't be able to resist. For those who have never heard of or seen it, I present it to you with Uncle Walt's intros all in tact.

If you have never seen it, you are in for a treat. Patrick McGoohan is perfect as Dr.Syn. Perfect for a rainy autumn night.

Thanks for reminding me about this. I haven't seen it since I was a kid.

What I love about this movie is it is not all non stop action. There is a story and history here. It seems like the subject matter would be boring for not only kids today but adults as well.Just hearing Walt's enthusiasm describing each chapter is what sold me.
