Thank you DG!

We should all plan a SoCalBBW outing to see it for sure.

That'd be awesome. If you want to get together and eat, I know a great place called La Pouble. They have the BEST Vodka Penne. Updated On: 9/7/04 at 06:03 PM

Hugos on Riverside is pretty good too.

It sounds like Cyndy needs to let us know when she might be coming down, and then we could go from there. For myself, I would prefer to see the show during its run rather than a preview. But if that's all we can arrange, then that would be ok. La Pouble sounds good - is it near the theatre?

It should only be about ten minutes away.

DGrant where in Alta Loma are you from? I grew up right across the street from Chaffey College.

Adam - we're in Victoria, just off of Miliken and below Victoria Park Lane. I go walking in the neighborhoods by Chaffey.

How about either the weekends of the 15th or the 29th of October? I probably can't get down for the Thursday shows but could do Fri. Sat. or Sun. Sunday shows are matinees though...I think. Any of those dates sound good?

Saturday the 16th would be perfect for us. We already have an Appointment in Beverly Hills that day, so we would already be in town.

By the way, Cyndy - that quote from Mame is one of my favorite quotes of any kind EVER re: The SoCal Connection

How did I miss this thread?

Are we planning a gathering in Southern California??

DG, as you know we'll be passing eachother on the 18th (yes, I'm still going...)...not sure about October yet because I have a wedding on the 10th and tickets to shows the 22nd and 31st...hmmm...I think we have to get the adults together for a soiree around your pool!

Boobs - it's not like we're meeting in New Zealand - fly on out! I'm pretty interested to see the infamous Max von Essen and see what all the hub-bub is about!

Here's some info on La Poubelle. Is this the place you were talking about Adam...? It's about 6 1/2 miles from the theatre. http://www.la.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/cgpportal.woa/wa/path?urlpath=%2Fdining%2Ffrenchbistro%2Flapoubelle%2F600

I live in LA and La Poubelle is one of the best resturants in LA. I know I am new to this board but I would love to meet all you fellow broadway fans.

OK, so, let's really float the 16th as the potential date. I'm in (with one other) and Cyndy - who else?

laactress - PLEASE feel free to join in the fun!

Galindafied - my partner worked at the park for a few years part-time while he was teaching. We still have many friends there (and all over in admissions, guest relations, characters, show and admin.)

So everybody check your calendar, and post here whether you're in and for how many. That way we can address the ticket issue as soon as possible. Also, unless there's a strong negative reaction, I don't see why we don't just go with La Poubelle for dinner.

yes, yes, I'm a control freak - but SOMEONE'S got to do it re: The SoCal Connection
