The Sox Are Getting Mugged.

What the hell happened?

The Sox are getting the living tar beat out of them. Maybe they miss Manny more than they let on. Either that or it is a total team collapse.

I also give credit to Tampa Bay - the little team that could. They have more heart in a finger on any of their ballplayers than the NY (Choke) Mets.

Will the METS do the hat trick in 2009?

The Sox do their best when on the defensive. They were 3-0 in 2004 and came back with a vengeance. Then last year, they were 3-1 and came back. So it ain't ovah 'til it's ovah. But I'll eat brdlwyr's hat of tricks should they lose Thursday.

I think they are jinxed ever since they had it in the bag before than fan touched the ball a few years ago.

Go (Devil) Rays! Tampa Bay has shown just what some compelling young talent and progressive managing could do against high-salaried major market players. They'll be this year's Amazin' Mets of 1969!

You just know Cubs fans are getting upset over the strong prospect of another "baby" franchise on the verge of getting into the World Series and could win.

This game was kinda nuts. The Sox came back from 7 runs down in the 7th to walk off with the win.

Because I DO read the threads - even the ones I don't start (which is most of them.)

But I REALLY remember because, when I read it the first time, I got that old Volare car ad theme stuck in my head, and it made me laugh.

What the Sox did the METS could not do in a 1000 years. The SOX have heart & the METS do not. Maybe they can get one from the Wizard.
