The Student Board

But then that brings back the age segregation, and I'm with Addy: I think it's great that it's morphed into what it has. :3

There are some young people here who are snippy, arrogant know-it-alls. Then there are others who are friendly, kind, intelligent and knowledgeable about theatre without sounding as though they believe that everyone but they are "idiots."
It's just like the not-so-young people on the board...and in real life.
Personally, I like young people. I like being around them. I like their optimism. I like their eagerness and curiosity. And they're usually a lot of fun. I like having them integrated into my life. And they have every right to be. It's their world too.

I go to the Student Board when I need help and I have gotten some wonderful suggestions. It's rare when I make a post asking for song advice or a good monologue selection, but when I do, the Student Board almost always comes through.
Also, I agree with miss p.
Hopefully, I'm the latter of those two groups. :-P

Posted: 1/29/09 at 8:05pmThanks Pal Joey. Because he was the second poster in this thread and said special place for special people I thought he was one of the students. It was hard to believe from some of his posts that he could be so young. I really haven't gotten to know people yet.
