Not as bad as the SNL curse but still loads of bad luck

1. George Reeves kills himself ( or is murdered - read Hollywood Kryptonite regarding this)

2. Superman musical receives glowing reviews & closes prematurely

3. Christopher Reeve is paralyzed in a riding accident

4. Richard Pryor , featured in Superman 3 , is diagnosed with MS

george reeves kills himself

ona munson kills herself

leslie howard's plane is shot down

margaret mitchell is run down by a drunk driver

vivien leigh suffers depression and dies of TB

hattie mcdaniel dies childless

butterfly mcqueen killed in house fire

musical by rome and foote flops

sequel by that ripley woman causes world-wide nausea

Bah.....and what about all the other people IN those movies who nothing happened to? or went on to larger things?

Mr. Roxy, did you hear that Ben Affleck is playing George Reeves in an upcoming movie about the suicide/murder (would having Ben Affleck play you in a biopic fall under "The Superman Curse")?

you could probably find three people who have died from any show or musical, and call it a "fill in the blank" curse......

I wrote a research paper my freshman year of highschool about the horrible aftermath of GWTW for many of the actors. Much of the depression came from the typecasting they all got after making such a huge film.

And yes Scarlett was a horrible book, but did you see the movie? hmmm, I better head over to the worst movies of all time thread)

It's ok because the size of the new Supermans basket has broken the curse, not to mention several sphincters.
