"The Surreal Life" new season on VH-1 - celebs gone wild

K, y'all, I am already hooked. Here are the details for the uninformed:

This former WB reality show is now on VH-1 (so it will be repeated frequently). Six celebrities (and I use that word with caution) are tossed together in a Hollywood mansion for two weeks. Hijinks ensue. This season promises nudity, an unexpected love connection and outrageous egos.

This CAST:

JORDAN KNIGHT, 34 (my how time flies) member of '80s pop supergroup New Kids on the Block.

FLAVOR FLAV, 45, member of '80s rap group Public Enemy.

BRIGITTE NIELSEN, 41, star of films Red Sonja and Rocky IV (married to Stallone briefly).

RYAN STARR, 21, top ten finalist from American Idol Season 1.

DAVE COULIER, 44, comedian who played Uncle Joey on Full House.

CHARO, 63, flamenco guitarrist, singer, dancer and frequent "Love Boat" guest star.

oh no another episode of "BATTLE OF THE NETWORK HAS-BEENS". I thought when the WB canned it that it was gone for good.

Yep, I definitely think that these celebs are B-listers at best, but we love 'em. Ok, maybe not Flava, but I have always loved CHARO! Cuchi, cuchi!

Wow! So this week, the gang met up with a lot of middle school band kids and played a song with them. Brigitte was crazy as usual. But the real revelation was that Flava was great with the kids, really encouraging, his crazy energy actually worked. Jordan looks pretty creepy at times, and I am a lil surprised that Ryann is playing such a goody-goody, when she had such a rocker chick image on Idol.

We were also really surprised about Ryan. She really seems to maintain her convinctions and not have any interest in compromising herself. Then again, I only saw the first two episodes. However, she seems to be quite a contrast to last season's Trishelle.

Ok... so anyone notice that in the 1st episode when Flav and Jordan were playing pool and Ryan gets out of bed to tell them to quiet down, she's still wearing make up?

I know. I think the Brigitte/Flava hook up is the most revolting idea I've heard of in a long time. Ewww, ewww, and EWWWWWWW.

Sooooo nasty! Between Charo and her barely there clothing, Brigitte and her rolling around in the leopard bathing suit, Ryan and her I hate everyone attitude, too famous to be bothered Jordan, the ex-crack addict Flav and Dave Coulier, I can't watch a full show.

The promo with someone saying to Coulier, "You were on the show with the twins," and his responding pathetically, "Mary-Kate and Ashley? Yeah, they're my friends..." was one of the saddest moments in television.

Agree. I think this season is sadder than the others.

And... how lame is it when they're constantly shipping in all those extras.

I was a big fan of Tammy Faye too. No one is as interesting this season as she was last year.
