We had a dance today, I didn't go- I never do.
My professor is going to think I'm an idiot.

I will throw a BWW prom. We can dance and party, and dress up. It'll be a good time.

I have no one, friends or otherwise, to attend prom with so I'll be sitting at home all night, staring at my walls.
At this point, I'm almost wishing I were in your position!
Prom IS overreated. Fun, but way overrated.
.... as is most of high school.

Allie, that would actually be kind of fun in a total net-nerd kind of way. We should go avatar-dress-googling.
siamese, I'd trade with you in an instant. I'm fond of dark blue and guys who don't talk.

I'm actually one of the ones who had a generally fantastic high school experience. I miss it so much.
awww, Allie. You're lucky to have had that, though.
Rawr, Homework.
I'm starting high school next year, and I can't wait to get out of middle school... eek.
Highly banal: Facebook changed and I don't like it.

When you go to look at your friends' recently updated profiles, it's not alphabetical anymore, but in order by how recently they were updated. It's driving me nuts.

Oh, is that all? I think it's kind of helpful. Sometimes it will say "Recently updated", but it was a day or more before.
Also? Sometimes I can't figure out WHAT people updated on their profile. Ohhhh, new group. Greeeat.
It confuses me!
My eyes hurt. I guess that's one reason I should get away from the computer. heh.

Oh my God, I just bashed my hand (especially my pinky finger) against the desk REALLY hard. I can barely type.
In addition, AOL Instant Messenger hates me and has decided to kick me off randomly over the last few days.
My internet connection has been randomly disconnecting a lot lately.
I hope that your hand feels better, Lexi!
We had prom tonite (I'm a junior in college). I didn't go because it cost $65. Now there are a bunch of drunk people standing in the courtyard screaming. Great.
I'm a little late, but hi Nia.
It has been far too long, I hope you are well.
I live in NY, I just have actually shown up at a couple events now.
My mother had play tickets for today, and I was supposed to go with her. Last night, she bails on me because she decided she'd rather go look at apartments that my parents sure as hell don't have the money to buy. So she leaves me with the extra (free) ticket and expects me to find someone (who she knows) that's free on less-than-24-hours-notice. Now she's mad at me because everyone I've asked is busy. She calls and asks when I'll know if I can or can't find someone to join me, and just... yelled at me about it. She yells at me because I'm forcing her to go? Or because I should be in control of everybody *else's* plans? I wouldn't want to burden her by making her actually do as she said.
I'm not in the mood for this crap. I have enough else to deal with aside from my mother being in one of her moods. I, as it happens, am in a terrible mood, on a f*cked up sleep schedule, mad at myself, confused, and drowning in work.
Oh, and it's absolutely POURING.

I have something really boring to share. On Thursday, it was freezing cold. Yesterday it was aroudn eighty and today it's back to around forty. wtf?
Back to proms for a second, my school is having a Wicked-themed formal. How... unoriginal.

Ew. Unless it somehow involves Shoshana Bean. I bow down to her!
Although, at least your school's students are familiar enough with musical theatre (even if it's Wicked...) to the point where they can hold something like that. Granted, I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot of Glindas and Elphabas.
I dunno. They plagiarized the Wicked logo and stuck it in the posters for the event, and they're giving away free tickets to the show, or something. I feel like they want everybody to wear green, or some such crap, so it looks like the Emerald City.
I am so not going.
