siamese dream, if I could learn a brass instrument, it would be the french horn. I just LOVE the sound!
When I was considering a second instrument, one of the options was French Horn. :)

Really, I picked it out in fifth grade because it looked pretty. We unfortunately didn't do enough research and bought a single French horn (I believe that's the correct terminology), which made it really difficult for me to hit the high notes. I just thought it was an insanely difficult instrument to play and was always fed up with getting the harmony.
I've played the piano for twelve years. I enjoy it once in a while, but I'm pretty much sick of it by this point. I should really practice considering I have a lesson tomorrow.
When I was in elementary school, we had "Olympics" and the trumpet players got to play this like... Olympic song. That's why I picked it. I swear.
Oooh. I have a listen tomorrow too, that just reminded me siamese! I haven't practiced in ages.

I played percussion. When I first started, it was mainly auxiliary stuff, like the cowbell, heh, but I really loved the bells and the xylophone! Since everyone else seemed to haaate the melodic stuff, I got to play those exclusively.
Bleh. I feel so useless right now. I... filed my nails? Which I never do, but I'm in one of my "OMG I stopped biting my nails!" phases.

Allie, that sounds like a lot of fun! My friend played the xylophone. I'd always mess around on hers.
I need to stop biting the inside of my cheeks and chewing on my hair. The former gives me a very unflattering look, and the latter is just disgusting. I swear that I'll probably end up a smoker someday because I always need something going on with my mouth.
I bite the insides of my cheeks, too. Moreso when I try not to bite my nails. I don't think I have some sort of oral fixation, or anything, because chewing gum doesn't make me less prone to chew my nails and stuff. I think it's a nervous habit.
SD- I chew on my hair all the time. My friends always make me stop but its a habit. I twirl it too, which I cant stop cause I've done it my whole life.
I constantly mess with my hair. Putting it behind my ears, putting it up, taking it down, twirling it....

It's such a gross habit. Little pieces of it always end up in my mouth. I don't do it at school or in public, but I'm ALWAYS doing it in front of the computer. The hair gets in my keyboard, too. It's so nasty.
I almost always take a two-hour nap after school. After I wake up, I never feel truly refreshed until around 9 PM. It's a vicious cycle, but I've been doing it since 10th grade. It really keeps me from doing homework and studying to the extent I should.
Naps mess me up.
My skin was clearing up, but now it's getting weird again. I can't help but think it's stress-induced.

My hair is really curly, and I always play with it. In class, I like to take a pencil and stick it through one of the ringlets.

I hate breaking out. Buy Proactiv. It works!
Oh, I definitely have an oral fixation. When I'm stressed, like during exams or something, I always get a big bag of Blow Pops, because those help. I used to chew gum more, but I've developed TMJ in recent years. I compulsively apply Burts Bees and pick at my lips and chew the inside of my lower lip. I can't smoke, but totally know that if I could, I definitely would. I don't believe any part of Freud's theories except for this, because it so perfectly describes me.
Ugh, now I really want a lollipop.
And yes, I'm aware of how incredibly wrong this all sounds.
Tried it.
I use Clearasil Face wash, wipes, and vanishing cream and it works reallllly well.
Brokeback Mountain comes out on DVD April 4th, and that suddenly just made me almost cry with happiness. Seriously. I just saw a commercial.

Ew, skin. I've had quite the battle with my skin over the past three years or so. I think I tried every treatment option in exsistence before resorting to Accutane. It's finally clear, but yeah, I went through hell. If anyone wants to know anything about that kind of thing, feel free to PM me; I've pretty much become an expert.
After spending most of my teen years breaking out, my skin is usually reasonably clear except when I'm PMSing. That's nice for 3 weeks out of the month, but right now? Not so much.
My brother went on Accutane for a few months last year and it really helped him. My parents would have never allowed the dermatologist to put me on it because I'm a bit too prone to mood swings.
I had perfect skin until I graduated from high school. Now it's crazy.
Its wierd because I actually had worse skin before I got my first period. Isn't it usually after? Now my skin is perfect, except this one annoying zit.
Fortunately, the broken-out area is fairly contained. The skin on my cheeks and everywhere except my forehead is still fine.
