I called Cingular to see how much money it would cost to turn my cell phone back on. I haven't had a phone since May.
She said I'd have to pay it in full. The full amount: $1303.10. Thank you, all you downloads and screensavers! How I love thee! (How was I supposed to know the charges would add up like that when the phone was turned off?)

Posted: 8/20/05 at 9:53amOkay, you know how birth control pills have 21 days of "active" pills, and 7 days of "reminder" pills. Now that I've been on the patch (where you wear a new patch every three weeks and then spend a week not wearing one), taking the "reminder" pills seems kind of a waste. I wonder if there's anyone else who cheats like me and just lets the fake week of pills sit in the package, unswallowed? Hmmm...
