Has anyone read this book?
I'm reading it for bookclub, and I love it. It's mind-boggling, but fascinating. I don't quite get how the whole time travel thing works, but I'm really enjoying the story. I'm about half-way through.
Anyone?

Amazing book. Took awhile to get used to the narrative structure, but overall - a great read.

I loved this book, its one of those novels that when I finished, I lamented as to why all novels couldn't be that enjoyable, I hate wading through the crap...le sigh...
And its by Audrey Niffenegger

Posted: 10/30/05 at 5:50pmI adored the book too. I found it fascinating, occasionally disturbing and ultimately deeply moving. There's a film in the works with Gus Van Sant directing.

I enjoyed this book, but something about it really disturbed me. I haven't been able to put it into words.
*Possible Spoiler*
I was very bothered by the idea of Clare spending her entire life essentially waiting for Henry. The ending with her being old and just waiting for the day he'll come to see her was very disturbing.
Still, as a librarian, I'm always happy to see stories about my profession

Oh there are other things that disturbed me, but it was a big part. Something about that book gets to me and unfortunatly none of my friends have read it so I haven't been able to talk it out.
I do think it will make a good movie if done right.
