I hope I spelled that right! Does anyone remember this show, or the Spin-off Almost Home, I believe it was called? I used to like to watch this show. I kinda remember seeing some of it when it was current and can remember reading some about it in my "teen" magazines, but I really remember watching it on Disney.
They had a theme song by the Judds! It went something like this "People say God looks out for the Workin' man, Sure hope he's lookin' out for Me......" Sweet, huh!
Anyone ever know what happened to the cast? I know that Chuckie Lee was on Boy Meets World.
Almost Home had Brittany Murphy and this other cute guy that was also on Full House and Step-by-Step(another show we should talk about!). I forgot who the dad was, Brian something I think.
Anyways, I always wondered what become of some of the cast members and was wondering if anyone on here remembers this show!

"People say God looks out for the working man...sure hope He's looking out for me. These empty pockets need a helpin' hand...kitchen table full of family! But then the sun comes up..and the moon is shining big and bright...and the new day promises that everything will be allllllright! And the new day promises that everything will be all right..."
YES I loved this show! Dorothy Jane was just like me because she was a sensitive dreamer with dark curly hair who loved to read. I loved how she talked to the Man in the Moon!

He played one of Will's one nighters on Will & Grace a couple years ago, it was pretty funny. And I'm one of those old school Brittany Murphy fans, all stemming from this show.

I always adored that little Olivia Burnette - did we all see her in the Texas Cheerleader movie with Lesley Ann Warren?
And of course this is the show where I first saw and noticed Brittany Murphy - just dripping with talent and star quality as the snotty stepsister.

Posted: 8/9/05 at 1:44amI loved this show. I identified with Dorothy Jane too. The mother can be see in Hope Floats. Haven't seen much of anybody else. The one episode i fully remember is the one about cotillion (sp) dress. Yay!

Didn't Brittany look so much better back then with her curves and her curly dark hair?
And YES, that dress scene killed me...so sad!!
