I have never seen this film (hangs head in shame) but I have friends who swear by this film. Now with the dvd release I guess I have no excuse.

I agree. Page's performance is, imho, the finest I've seen on film.

I've not seen it either. But I love Geraldine Page. She was so fabulous in "Sweet Bird of Youth"

I prefer her in YOU'RE A BIG BOY NOW, co-starring Julie Harris as "Miss Thing".
