Hey guys, I'm really bored - if you can't tell - so I thought I'd create a BWW Award for the current Broadway season. I will decide the nominees (and I will remain open minded, blocking out all personal preference) and there will be 6 nominees instead of the usual 4 or 5, just to open it up a bit more. Instead of listing the specific designers (I don't feel like looking them up,) I will just list the show name to save time. don't think I'm being disrespectful, I just didn't want this to take me 4 hours to type. Please don't use this thread to comment about who I've chosen and how terrible an idea this is. I know it's a stupid idea, but I'm bored, and I think it will be interesting to see who WE choose as the best as opposed to who THEY choose as the best. Voting starts now, and it will end Friday night (Saturday morning) at 12 Midnight. Results will be posted sometime on Saturday. Thanks and have fun!!!!!
Also, please PM me your answers. Do not discuss who you vote for on this thread. Thanks!!

im sure tons of people who havent seen em all will vote...
ive been trying to stay off the guessing topics simply cuz I havent seen em all, i know what like of the ones ive seen tho.
That's why this is terrible unofficial, and just for the pure hell of it. Very few people on here have seen all the shows. It's not about guessing - there's no guessing involved - it's just who YOU would like to see win the BWW Award!
You don't have to see all the nominees - that's why this is just for fun. So PM me your answers, just for the hell of it.

I'm almost scared of myself. I've nearly seen everything.
nice work, munk. finally something worthy, instead of those silly "hot or not" threads...
wow, I've seen most of these shows... I guess that's a good thing.
So TV..do you find this thread..Hot or Not?
this thread is so hot, b-wayboobs, I'd call it blazin'
munk... I don't object to your creation of an "unofficial" theatre award, but I think you should consider renaming it. Submitted for your consideration: The Munky.

Ooh, a precursor to the Official Unofficial BWW Awards.
And since the majority of people voting will not have seen, heard or spoken of most of the shows...
I give you... THE MUNKY AWARD
I love this Munk, what fun. I'm actually seeing Streetcar and Sweet Charity this week so I will vote after. I really like this though its the type of thing I really enjoy, and since it is "unofficial" no one has to scream that it shouldn't be done.
bump
I voted too!
Though I think maybe it wasn't such a good idea, considering I've seen NOTHING!!!
But I didn't vote on things I could have NO IDEA about, like Lighting Design...

thanks guys
Just a note: Don't vote for things that aren't nominated. I won't write them in. Also, please remember that if I didn't nominate something (like ASSASSINS) that's because it's not from this season. It's fine to not vote in a category you know nothing about - but don't vote for 2 or 3 people per category - I won't count them.
Thanks!
