Is THE BIRDCAGE not the best version of them all?
I think it is.

"The Birdcage" is one of my all-time favorite movies! So many great one-liners:

Loved her when she took over for Stockard in HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES at Lincoln Center. She's great in Jeffrey too.

Its a line from the movie where Albert, dressed as the mother, tries to explain why everyone pronounces their last name differently.

Oh yes... Coldeman. The "d" is silent in America. It's Cole D'Isle au Man, or Cole of the Isle of Man, in France, where Armand's chateau is, Cold-e-man in Greece where Armand's work is, and finally the vulgar Coleman in Florida where Armand's home is, so actually, we don't know where we are until we hear our last name pronounced! Ahahahahahahaaaaa!
