Anyone heard anything about this?
It's the final Merchant & Ivory film (Merchant died earlier this year) starring Ralph Fiennes, Natasha Richardson, Vanessa Redgrave, and Lynn Redgrave with a screenplay by Kazuo Ishiguro (Remains of the Day). It opens in NY and LA on December 21st.

I know that the national ad campaign is gearing up, and I believe that trailers are being released to theatres.
But, the buzz has been relatively quiet.
Of interest is that they are billing it simply as being directed by James Ivory.
"Two drifters off to see the world. There's such a lot of world to see. . ."

The official website is slated to be up and running some time this week.
Some of the advance reviews have been weak, but the draw of a final Merchant & Ivory film and such a stellar cast is going to be strong, regardless of the reviews.
