Janet Flanner, legendary New Yorker journalist and pop-culture foot note, who famously assisted in putting a drunk and boorish Norman Mailer in his place on a rousing episode of Dick Cavett's eponymous talk show, is profiled in this wonderful short doc from the golden days of public broadcasting.
