What do you guys think is the top school for musical theater? I mean, there are obviously a lot of great choices, but what are your opinions??

I think the question is pretty subjective. There are a lot of schools out there that could be called "Top" schools, but honestly, if you're deciding what school to go to, other people's opinions are not what you should follow, it's YOU'RE opinions. A school can be really really good by reputation, but that doesn't mean it's for you.
My advice is to visit every school you can. DEFINITELY visit a school before deciding if you want to go there. Get a tour, talk to the department heads, talk to other students. It's not about the best school, it's about the right school for you. When I was visiting schools there were a few smaller, lesser known schools that I really liked, and there were some bigger name schools that I really liked, but there were also some schools that I had been told were really really good that I just hated. There are so many factors... school size, program size, teachers, location (for example, I LOVED Ithaca, but I didn't know if I wanted to be that far from NYC), just the way the department is run...
And if this is just a for-fun little poll message, ignore me :P

There are several schools that are more well- known than others, and claim to be the top theatre schools, yet I feel that it really is an individual opinion, and that only you can judge what the best school for you is. There are people on Broadway who went to what many consider to be "obscure" schools, or schools that don't have a high reputation for theatre, but hey, they made it. It really comes down to what you get out of the program. If you do everything you can to try to improve, you will be fine no matter where you go. Some schools may have more "famous" faculty members, yet I would guess that most programs have teachers who are well- trained and will not steer you in the wrong direction. A lot of people think that casting directors will be more likely to cast you if you're from a more well- known school. While this may be true, there are also countless performers who never even graduated from college. It all comes down to what you gain from the program upon graduation.
im looking into cincinnatti, northern colorado, and viterbo. you should look into those schools!
