Dear Guys,
First off, it never ceases to amaze me when I hear that name (or nickname) [VoiceAnth] is used in a sentence on BWW. I can't believe that anyone would remember--or want to remember, someone who went out of his way to provoke a multitude of people.
I have no interest in doing that anymore, and since that was my general MO, and one that I will always be viewed as having here, it's best to just move on ...
...Also, I haven't seen a Broadway show in a year.....thus, to post on a "Broadway board" is rather silly..
Some things just end. That's all...nothing personal. I would say that most people who write here are decent, good people; and spending any more time trying to incite a riot or something stupid like that just doesn't make any sense.
Yes, it is true, I occasionally take a quick look when alerted to something interesting, but other than that I just don't have much of an idea what's going on here anymore. I have a full time job that leaves me sweating bullets on a daily basis so that kills a lot of the day.
BWW certainly has come a long way. It looks very news heavy and it looks like a ton of kids have a presence, which, I guess, is a good thing.
Don't worry PattiB; you wouldn't have upset my feelings.... I took my writing as seriously as most of my readers here, which is not saying much. And my "followers" were as short-lived as a Kristin Chenoweth Sitcom.
I don't expect many would care but I am fine. Indeed, I am alive. Not dead, bleeding, jobless, loveless or anything like that.
I have returned to my first love which is not writing (I'm sure there is a collective sigh over that) and by the winter, things should be cooking.. No, there was never gonna be an alternative site that trashes BWW. Yes, there will be site of some kind site but let's leave that for September and no, it will have nothing to do with Broadway, BWW or anything that belts a show tune..
So many of the things I said or tried to say got misconstrued...most were said in complete and utter jest ...and some, of course where direct assaults on the fabric of the Broadway musical community....So, I feel I should end this now before someone makes mincemeat of what is a genuine statement.
I do wish all of you the best...really.... no one on this site was or is really a bad guy ...try as hard as they might....remember that, and you'll all get along fine.
