Not only is she drop dead gorgeous, but she's freaking hilarious on Ugly Betty. Every week she seems to come up with a hysterical performance, clearly seeming to be having the most fun working on that show.
I just love her!

She's hilarious. She's one of my favorites on a show filled with my favorites.
Do you remember the episode where she played one of the assistants at Salma Hayek's magazine? I didn't even know that was her at first!

She was brilliant, proving she has the acting chops and isn't just one note.
Every week, she does more than makes me laugh. She surprises me with such originality.

Posted: 1/25/08 at 1:18pmI agree. She's outstanding on there. I heard that she was here in NY a few years back trying to do theatre and just couldn't catch a break (I know that feels) and decided to go to LA.

She relayed the story of how she met her husband (actor Chris Diamantopoulos) on Regis a few months ago.
He was doing The Full Monty on Broadway at the time, and their eyes met on the subway platform. They got to talking and, as he got off at his stop, he said "how would you like to see me get naked tonight?"
Of course, that's not the exact story, but her delivery was just hilarious.

'This! (waves hand) Bores me!'
if last night's episode doesn't net her an Emmy and GG, there's no justice.

Becki Newton is fantastic. I love that she doesn't seem afraid to get as campy as it gets, she is truly fantastic. She can also be incredibly touching. Her performing style in the show is fabulous and she has such great chemistry with America and Michael Urie. I love her hand gestures.
I will never forget the first big laugh she got from me in the show: "Are you deh-lee-va-ring some-ding." Genius!

i love her very much too!
& when i criticized this past episode, i should have been more specific.
because the Amanda scenes were classic! i love it when we get moments humanizing Amanda; it makes her comedy all the more funny!
& WHEN SHE DID THE TONGUE!
