Because some parents think that if their kids want to go to the GSA it means they're gay (God forbid, the whole world will end!) and that everyone in the community will gossip. I know from experience.

Monkey, I sure hope you don't join the Pep Club. Unless you want to, then go for it. But tell your mother this: LAMBDA offers scholarships to students who participate in LGSA.

My experience is nothing. I originally wanted to do it because my friends did, but then things turned bad with them and it was better to avoid the whole thing. I was going to go and say I was staying for another club, but I didn't in the end because of the people.

Delphine, didn't you listen when your parents told you it wasn't safe to give out personal information on the interent? I'm very vague with these things on purpose. "In school" means sometime between kindergarten and grad school. And that's all I'm saying.

And yes, Mommsie and Popsical taught me my internet lessons. I'm very careful, even though I don't really have much of a reason to be. I'm just guarded, is all.
