The sky...

I have always been enamored with the sky.
It is nothing less than the most loving
being to ever grace this wonderful world.
Propped up over our meekliness by the
Great Hands, the sky watches over us all
with loving eyes.

As a young seedling, I would go to the
grass-strewn dew-garden behind my
childhood home and lie on my back, naked
as the day I escaped from my mother’s
womb-hatch.

Looking up at the sky from my vantage
point, I grew fond of the stars twinkling
past my eyes each night. That fondness
grew and grew into something larger and
more special.

I brought my childhood televisional box
with me on those sweet, summer nights. Of
course, there was no electrical outlet
within the grass-blades, and therefore I
would have to merely verbally describe
the beautiful images that were brought to
me by satellite earlier in the evening.

The night sky would declare its amusement
and/or fondness of such visions by
allowing the sun to shine for just one
more day. This mutualistic relationship
brought me great happiness and fondness
throughout my childhood years.
