I've been waiting for someone to contextualize the photos circulating on the net of gays being abused by the hug populace of Russia, and at last the good folks at the Museum of Sex have done. I am grateful for the analysis, stomach churning though it is. I am also grateful the blogger questions the ethics of re-posting such photos

Great article. It credits John Aravosis's AmericaBlog, which has been for a long time one of the best of the progressive news and commentary blogs. Aravosis has a page dedicated to news of the Russian gays.

But it does point out the weirdness of Aravosis continuing the public humiliation of the victims.

The section about the general lawlessness and murderous nation of so many Russian crowds is sickening. I don't think even I would be against drones in this instance.
