Hi guys, I'm an Acting major at the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University, and am currently working on my Senior thesis on Performing Arts and Acting curriculum. I just wanted to get some insights from all you fine people.

What are some misrepresented or under-utilized content areas in theatre curriculum that you think should be covered in acting classes?

What knowledge do you think is necessary to learn from an acting program?

What are some interesting classes you've taken in theatre that stray from the traditional path of Acting, Voice & Speech, Movement, etc. that still are relevant to the performing arts?

Just a few things to think about.
