Theatre Marathon!

I have this weekend and next week off from work. Therefore, I've planned a little theater marathon. I have tickets for every single night (almost) of this week to see a Broadway show.

Tonight (already seen): RENT
Tomorrow: The Drowsy Chaperone & The Producers
Sunday: RENT
Monday: Nothing
Tuesday: Wicked
Wednesday: A Chorus Line and Wicked
Thursday: Les Miserables
Friday: Jersey Boys
Saturday: Chicago and Spamalot
Sunday: Mamma Mia

I'm incredibly excited. This week is going to be great.

I wish I had your kind of money.

Well, actually I barely have any money at all. In fact, I'm nearly broke.

I save and spend....Then live off of my wife's money for a little while...then spend some more....then try to save and try to spend at the save time...then realize your family needs to eat...then saving....then spending.

Oh, the agony.

It's not open in the US yet. My parents are over in the UK and my mom is sick. I wanted to visit her, so I booked a flight to the UK that leaves late at night - after the performence of Wicked ends.
I plan to see Les Miserables with my parents that night, then in the morning, fly back to the US and see Jersey Boys that night.

I'm definitely going to be tired.

The Drowsy Chaperone and Rent were amazing. I can't wait for The Producers tonight.

re: Theatre Marathon!

Yay! I finally get a day off from this theatre madness...haha. No, I'm kidding. I am having the best week of my life.

My wife and son are coming with me to see Wicked on Tuesday. It's my son's second Broadway show, so he's excited.

re: Theatre Marathon!

Why the doubling of WICKED and RENT? Are that many theatres dark right now?
#15

re: Theatre Marathon!

I went to see Wicked and Rent twice because I think they're both fantastic shows.

re: Theatre Marathon!

Gotcha. Are you going to these with your wife, with friends, or alone?

re: Theatre Marathon!

I'm going to Wicked on Tuesday with my wife and son, as I said. I'm going to Spamalot with my wife and son as well. It's a matinee, so it's easier for my son to stay awake re: Theatre Marathon!.
