Hey everyone. I don't post a lot, but I do read quite a bit. I had a question today, and I figured if anyone could help point me in the right direction, someone here could. I'm an Accounting major in school, about to start my third year. I've done some internships already in various areas, but one area that I think would be fascinating is the business side of theatre. I'm sure most businesses related to theatre, and theatres themselves, use accountants...The Producers even felt the need to sing about them. I was wondering if any of you could give me some ideas about where to look or who (or what businesses) to contact for more information about theatre-related business opportunities and internships. Thanks a lot!
there are job postings on playbill.com, on the left hand side
Ah, awesome! Thanks for the info, it gives me a place to start!
You could also check with your school's guidance/employment/admissions (I can't remember the word I want to use, it's been so long since I was in school!) office---they may be able to help you.
