Posted: 4/16/06 at 1:05pmI want to buy theatre tickets on Ebay but I've never used ebay before. I know how to use it but how do I know if the tickets I buy are real? What happens if they're fake? Thanks

Posted: 4/16/06 at 1:29pmI'm fairly certain its like anything else you buy on Ebay, if it turns out to be fake or misrepresented then E-bay protects you and you can get your money back, there is also protection through paypal. Of course, you still wouldn't end up with the tickets, but I don't think you would necessarily lose your money.

Posted: 4/16/06 at 1:44pmhow many auctions has the person had? What is their rating? If it's above 90% you should be ok. If it's someone whos only had say, a few auctions, I would not do it

Posted: 4/16/06 at 5:53pmand I've sold lots of tickets on eBay when I found my plans had changed. It just seemed easier to sell them on eBay when you live out of town than to do it any other way. Like they've said - look at the feedback rating of the seller and then actually look at their feedback comments. It's pretty easy to weed out the bad traders.
