What is the cheesiest musical ever made?

I cannot even begin to answer this question but I must say that "Dancing Through Life" is definitely in the top 10 cheesiest moments. But I"m talking like the entire shows...

The Fantastiks. But that's more on the play side isn't it?

Hairspray, when you think about it, is very cheesey. But I really like the OBCR so it's okay by me re: There may have been a thread like this before but...

Grease. At least the movie is. Come on, a flying car? lol that was a bit too much for me, no matter how much I love the movie.

"It's a great feeling of power to be naked in front of people. We're happy to watch actual incredible graphic violence and gore, but as soon as somebody's naked it seems like the public goes a bit bananas about the whole thing."

Grease was the first show that flew into my head. Man, how I hate that show.

"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife

The Music Man is pure cheese. I love it, but it's pure cheese.

I detest Grease!, but I don't know if I'd call it "cheesy" so much as "stupid."

Are we saying cheesiest as a bad thing?

If not, "Drat! The Cat!"

I don't think Dancing Through Life is so cheesy...

...though I did like Which Way to the Party better...

Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.
Some guy: You looked great!
Idina: Thanks...I WAS SO HIGH! 8/21/05

"The Starlight Express." For some reason seeing poeple dancing and singing on roller skates just seems a little strange to me.

very interesting,
