That's not true!!!!!!!
Before you can say "what happened?", tomorrow becomes today. And regret has to be the most heartbreaking and avoidable word in our vocabulary.

Forget regret, or life is yours to miss (or so I've heard).
Vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra
Salve, Salve Regina
Ad te clamamus exsules filii Eva
Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes
O clemens O pia

As they sang in "Follow the Girls":
Today Is Yesterday's Tomorrow...

Yep that whole mamsy pamsy tomorrow is another day along with "sticks and Stones" just piss me off.
Who honestly believe that words don't have power. I have taken a punch. Trust me was a lot easier than being called a FemiNazi, and seeing sons eyes well up with tears. Or being called a slut, whore, and dyke (they also think I'm there to f*ck their husbands...my best friend just can't believe some of the things people have said to her about me...) the real irony about all of this is that I am celibate....have been for years.
-- nonetheless these whispered slanders have resulted is a lot of no you can't go to 'that womans' house-- fortunately most people don't buy in once they've actually met me. Alas, the slander is real and the neighborhood is small and exclusive; can't wait to move downtown. While I could not give a whit about what people think about me - it has hurt my kids more than once to hear me abused, and consequently, really pissed me off. *end of rant*
