Anyone ever try Yogi Tea? It's this organic tea that's supposed to help with cramps, but I thought I'd see if it could get me settled down after running a mile, and after two sips I'm about to fall asleep...
Normally I wouldn't post a thread about tea... but this stuff is great, and you should all go out and buy it... and perhaps... sleep?

Posted: 7/2/05 at 12:35amDoes that taste ok? because I am addicted to green tea, and every tea besides green tea tastes weird to me. I need something like yogi tea to balance me out, i get so hyper. but then again, thats probably because i drink four cups of green tea a day..

Posted: 7/2/05 at 12:37amwhat's with the green tea? I've never had the pleasure of drinking any so I am wondering what is so great about it. (that sounded rude but it wasn't meant that way)

Posted: 7/2/05 at 12:37amI'm the same way. Green tea was the only thing I would drink before I just discovered this... it doesn't have that tea taste at all... it takes a few sips to get used to, but I love it

Posted: 7/2/05 at 12:52amoot thesbian, a lot of people drink green tea in place of sodas, because it has the same amount of caffiene and more. It raises your metabolism and actually can make you healthier, thats why I drink it. If youre gonna drink it though, drink it hot, I cant stand iced green tea they have on the market, and plus green tea has healthy antioxidants.

Posted: 7/2/05 at 1:03ammaybe thats why Im always so miserable, I never eat doritos or chocolate, even when I should probably to make me feel better. AHH the power of will power. oot thesbian, you should! I'm drinking some right now. Thats actually why I'll be up all night. Drink it in the morning though, 100% than coffee, and I love coffee. but i cant take anymore sweetners. I dont put anything in my green tea, but if you must, id try honey or splenda.

Posted: 7/2/05 at 7:55ammmmmm. I love green tea. Never heard of this other tea though. I, however, usually drink decaffeinated green tea with sugar. Yum yum. I can see how a lot of people wouldn't like the taste though.

Posted: 7/2/05 at 9:38amMollyllom, I am totally with you on the black tea, it is my addiction. I only drink Red Rose tea (well, Tetley if necessary) but I do this about 5 times a day. You know you have a problem when it is 95 degrees with intense humidity and you're sitting outside drinking a huge mug of tea like I did yesterday!

I love black tea. I have a friend who works in Fortnum & Mason and sends it to me all the time.
I'm no fan of green tea for the taste but I do drink it for the health reasons.

Posted: 7/2/05 at 11:27amI usually don't really like tea, but once I was really, really sick, and a friend of my roommate's offered me Yogi tea. I was sort of like "But Kristeeeeeen.... I don't like teaaaaa!" She said it was good tea, and it would make me feel better, so sick little me listened. It's pretty good!

Posted: 7/2/05 at 10:10pmI have developed a taste for grren tea. I discovered at a Japanese restaurant in Palo Alto. This place also served a green tea ice cream that was wonderful. You can now get decaf green teas. I made a pitcher of decaf green iced tead with mint the other day. It was great.
