let's remember that the egyptian people were the ones demonstrating and begging for the military to oust morsi after his government began moving the country toward into a fanatical theocracy akin to the taliban's afghanistan. the military didn't just say, "oh, hai. we're back."

everyone forgets that they were begged by the people. now the media is so desperate to portray this as something they can understand or have some frame of reference for - i.e. 70s and 80s Latin America - that they are willingly cheering for the lunatics who kill little girls for wanting to learn to read.

but you were claiming equivalency by saying that she wants what the taliban wants. while her views are warped and abhorrent, they are not murderous. when she starts chanting "death to infidels" or cutting off heads in pursuit of a worldwide christian theocracy then you can make little implications that it's no different. until then? it's oranges and barbarians.
