When people less fortunate than you feel the need to make themselves feel better by making the rhetorical statment, "It's not all about you, you know," smile and nod and say, "Of course it isn't, I know that."
But as you know, it really is all about you. There is nothing that happens on this whole planet that is not an opportunity for growth for you, chock-a-block with meaning and lessons for you to learn.
When a natural disaster happens, and thousands are killed, ask yourself what meaning the event has in your life? What are you supposed to learn from this? When you realize the answers to these questions, you will be able to move on and be the incredible success you are destined to become. Because you, more than anybody on the planet, deserve it.
