FORGIVE YOUR ENEMIES:

In his Sunday sermon, the preacher used "Forgive your Enemies" as his subject. After a long sermon, he asked how many were willing to forgive their enemies. About half held up their hands. Not satisfied, he preached for another twenty minutes and then repeated his question. This time he received a response of about 80%. Still not satisfied, he lectured for another 15 minutes and repeated his question. With all thoughts now on Sunday dinner, all responded except one elderly lady in the rear. The preacher leaned forward, and asked "Mrs. Jones, why are you not willing to forgive your enemies?"
"I don't have any," replied Mrs. Jones, her hands folded neatly in her lap. The preacher stated,
"Mrs.. Jones, that is very unusual. How old are you?"
Ninety-six," Mrs. Jones replied, proudly. Pleased with her mild manner, the preacher commented,
"Mrs. Jones, Please come down in front and tell the congregation how a person can live to be 96 and not have an enemy in the world." The little sweetheart of a lady tottered down the aisle, slowly turned around, and said loudly,
I outlived all them bitches!"

Aah, Bboobs, now THAT'S a reason to stay healthy! LOL!

Hope the NYSE floor is kind to you today.

If you get bored, be sure to lead everyone in a rousing chorus of
(and do your best Ferris Bueller)

Danke Schön

And here's a link with musical accompaniment:

Danke schön, Darling, danke schön
Thank you for all the joy and pain
Picture show, second balcony
Was the place we meet, second seat
Go Dutch Treat, you were sweet

Danke schön, Darling, danke schön
Save those lies, Darling, don't explain
I recall Central Park in fall
How you tore your dress, I confess
What a mess, that's not all

Danke schön, Darlin', danke schön
Thank you for walks down Lover's Lane
I can see hearts carved on a tree
Letters entertwine for all time
Yours and mine, that was fine

Danke schön, Darlin', danke schön
Thank you for seeing me again
Though we go on our separate ways
Still the memory stays for always
My heart says, "Danke schön"

Danke schön, I'll be the same
Danke schön

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien
