Just felt like venting...!
The Ticketmaster auto-teller is the WORST.
I had to call Ticketmaster earlier today when they opened at 9 because I couldn't buy the tickets I wanted this morning on the website. It kept saying I was stranding a seat, even though there were a ton left in the row. Even if I tried to buy ONE ticket at a time and made the row an even number, I was still stranding a seat (even though I was buying from the aisle inward). It was really annoying.
It took me forever to get through to a human being because I never had "enough information" to be transferred. No, Ticketmaster doesn't comprehend having anything in their system called "If Then." No, there couldn't possibly be a performer named Idina Menzel. I was out at the Hallmark premiere at 9 (I'd tried ordering online around 7 and had to wait two hours for the box to open) and I didn't remember what venue the show was playing at without going online. I tossed out other venues I could recall and it finally recognized one. I had to fake a date and time and everything for a random show before I could talk to a human and say that I lied about what show I wanted to see just to talk to a human being!
I didn't talk to a human until almost 9:30.
Oh, and I STILL haven't received my confirmation email (12 hours later!) even though my card has been charged, so that makes me a little nervous...
I was just REALLY annoyed and wanted to vent. Figured you guys would understand more than anyone else in the world!

Posted: 7/13/14 at 2:09amYou can log in at ticketmaster.com and see your orders before you get a confirmation e-mail... you can't leave single seats for If/Then (and some other shows), but it isn't based on the number of seats in a row, if you only leave a single unoccupied seat next to the seats you are purchasing, it won't go through. If there are two empties next to where you are buying, you should be fine.

Yeah, that was the reason for the vent. At first, there were five seats left in the row, so I was like, "Okay, it needs to be even." So I went to buy two tickets so that there would be six free, then I could snag the sixth as an individual, and it still was like, "Nope."
So I just called...the seats were still free, thankfully!
And I still haven't gotten my emailed confirmation. It's also not on the website when I log in. But as long as my tickets arrive in the mail, who cares, right? It's just annoying! I had to go onto my bank statement to see the amount spent since there's no receipt anywhere to look at, lol!
Like I said, the post was mostly just to vent. And maybe others wanted to vent. IDK. I'm not trying to do anything about it or anything like that :)
