Oh please...You're preaching to the choir w/ this New York ain't cheap business! I almost cried when I found out that a friend of mine (from PA) pays $200 for her share of the rent in their 2 bedroom apt. Pshaw...Though it's not as if you're helping matters Miss I'm Staying at the Waldorf for My Birthday!!! You can always save a few bucks and stay on my couch for a couple of nights! Good times at the Celine bar down the street!

I have reached a new low. Sneaking into the kitchen, eating cold pizza slatchered in ranch. And it's my little brother's lunch tomorrow and he doesn't know. And now I'm huddled at the comp typing with one hand.

Can you give me any tips for 4+-star hotels? I checked on tripadvisor.com and the #1 (value, luxury, overall) is the Sofitel, second is Affinia Dumont. I just want glam, be it old skool or hot nouveau!
