When I was younger, I had a friend make me sit and listen to "Tire Tracks...." and the listen to "Capped Teeth and Caeser Salad" from Song and Dance....its pretty much the same song. That was my first realization that ALW was repetitive.

I love Bonnie Tyler and her version. My workout cd is a homemade Bonnie Tyler, and this is the song that kicks it off.

"Tire Tracks...." and "Capped Teeth...." don't sound anything a like. It may just be me, but I can't pick up any similarities.

I think you musicgal04 means "English Girls" from Song and Dance. Virtually the same melody as "Tire Tracks and Broken Hearts".

Not to mention that the lyrical hook 'tire tracks and broken hearts is all we're leaving behind' is originally from a Steinman song called 'Peel Out.'
