My first question is if anybody knows about how much it costs to go there per year.

And my second question is if anybody knows what the difference between CAP 21 and Tisch School of the Arts is.

CAP21 is the musical theatre department of Tisch (Tisch includes Theatre, Arts, etc departments) Cap21 is just one of those departments

the cost to attend NYU is upwards of $40,000/year.....it's pricey.

As a current Tischie, I can tell you exactly what the fees are for this year:

Tuition - $34,780

Rm & Bd - $11,440

CAP21 is not a department in Tisch. It is the MT studio within the Drama Department. Tisch Drama is made up of several acting studios, with CAP as the one which specializes in MT.
