Actually...browsing theater sites is part of my job as I look for talent and who's booking who, where and when and moving on this.

But since I was hired at Eastern PAC, most of my time is taken up getting our first season in place from soup to nuts!

Margo... I need your job because I am doing the work of 4 people and getting paid for 1. May I submit a resume for your "overpaid position" in this industry dept. ?

I'm a:

- college student
- citizenship & immigration officer
- rockclimbing instructor
- production assistant

When I need to stay awake during lecture, I thank GOD I've got wireless internet on my laptop, and I've got Wednesday - Friday off, where I'm at the airport or I'm at home, which is how I can manage to be on here so often. But I'm multitasking! I swear!

College Student, and I work in the honors dept at my school. My bosses are either not there or surfing the net themselves, so they don't mind that I spend my time here.

Dear, dear PB ENT!!!! When she was first hired at Eastern PAC she boasted (and I quote): "No one multitasks better than me". Now she gripes about how overworked and underpaid she is. I guess this job is pulling her away from her beloved cocktail circuit.

Friday or not, I don't see any reason for that kind of discourse to go unchallenged. If type of personal attack isn't taken to the private realm, then it is left open to comment in the public one.

Recent college grad who still hasn't gotten out of her damn retail position and is grossly underpaid for all the hell she puts up with in this overpriced novelty store. I'm now in my 6th Halloween season and want to shoot myself. I think I'm going to need some hardcore drinkies in NY Sunday.

But to answer your question, the retail world never has the same schedule week to week...so I'm off today. I'm doing mostly days now b/c our other supervisor just started college and can mainly do nights. It's also very rare to have a full weekend to yourself.

I took early retirement as a Systems Analyst from a telecommunications firm and made a few lucky investments, so my day is my own.

All my buddies work, so I have PLENTY of free time during the day, and I don't like Soap Operas (YUCK!)--so BWW is a quite a pleasant experience to pass the day.

I used to spend a lot of time on Computer Forums--talk about UGLY! Just say one nice (or nasty or indifferent) thing about Microsoft and tons of people immediately go for your throat like a Mongol Warrior! :)

LOL! thanks DGrant. I still "multi-task" quite well. I just feel I should be paid better for it. The proof will be in the pudding, as they say, when the fruits of my labor hopefully result in good things for the community.

Oh, dear PB ENT.!!!! Didn't you know your supposed to read those contracts before you sign them. It would have specified your responsibilities at work and you would have known you were getting paid just the minimum wage.

I'm glad to know you're still multi-tasking so effectively, though.

I'm taking a year off from college...but I teach at 4 different schools, so maybe I don't have as much time as I used too. Sad, ain't it? But when I'm not teaching what else have I to do?
