Posted: 8/15/07 at 12:35amI was always under the impression that you had to be at least 17 to see a rated R film in the theaters. But yesterday when I went to see Stardust, there was a sign at the ticket booth that said you had to be 25 and over....

Posted: 8/15/07 at 12:54amNot in the least. New Jersey. I asked my friend, who lives in CT about it and she says they have the same poster. In AMC Lowes theaters. I asked the person who sold me the tickets about it but she looked at me like I was Satan and shrugged her shoulders with one of those "why the **** should I know or care? I sold you your tickets,leave me alone!" attitudes.

AMC's policy is to ID anyone who looks under the age of 25. But last I heard - 17 is the cut off.
You have to be 21+ to buy someone under the age (of 17) a ticket to an R movie.
