Here's the deal. Nicole got pregnant by someone else (most likely Ewan McGregor when they were filming Moulin Rouge) and Tom, knowing it wasn't his baby becasue he's not able to produce enough sperm to get any woman pregnant (that's why they have two adopted kids), went ballistic! He couldn't deal with it and could never forgive Nicole for her infidelity. Then, Nicole had an abortion, but claimed that she had lost the baby. A few days later, Tom and Nicole announced their breakup. Don't you think it a little odd that Tom would leave Nicole so soon after a miscarriage? No, she aborted the baby, which was also not in line with Tom's religious beliefs. Infidelity! Betrayal! Abortion! At long last... one of Hollywood's dirtiest little secrets finally revealed!

I remember reading a blind item about five years into their maarriage about a closeted gay actor marrying an actress and havinga n agreement that they marriage would last 10 years and then theyw ould split and she would recieve XX amount of compensation or it to help said actor's image. There was a bunch of buzz about it being about Tom and Nicole and sure enough, they split at 10.

I heard bits of that story, but I was never really sure about where it came from. it certainly makes you think huh?

I would be more than interested in them if they in any way affected my personal life. As it is, I appreciate their work when it appeals to me, and that's the extent of our interaction. Those that have something to say about them without knowing them tell me MUCH more about themselves than these two individuals.
