Considering their 13.5 game lead, the Mets would be smart to let him sit out even a bit longer than that to rest him a bit for the postseason.

But, you know, it's the Mets.

Now all they need to figure out is where the hell is David Wright, AFter the home run derby, he went south

It seems the Home Run derby always has that effect.
I think Wright just needs some time off, watching him it seems his bat is slow.

I am very happy to hear that Glavine is alright, he has been my favorite baseball player for a very long time.
