It was a huge hit at the Toronto Fringe Festival a few years ago (actually, it might have been last year). I heard it's good, and won a few awards. It's supposed to be really funny.
But I've seen the creative team's new work at this year's Toronto Fringe, "Sleepless: The Musical" (about people with sleeping disorders), and it was awful. So I don't know if "Top Gun: The Musical" is all it's cracked up to be.

Did you guys know Tom Cruise did a musical when he was younger (I think it was West Side Story).
Maybe he could come and see/star in it for publicity's sake.
