Yeah Rath, when I was a kid my grandma used to watch What's My Line faithfully. So, I grew up watching that show and To Tell The Truth. Grandma loved Kitty and Arlene.
I used to love to watch Match Game and count how many times Brett could use the words boobs and tinkle as her answers.

Brett was awesome. And every so often that cute little Patty Duke Astin would show up. That was always a treat.
Yeah I used to watch Match Game with my grandma, and my mother and I would watch What's My Line every night.
My stepmother's middle name is Arlene and her confirmation name is Frances - I always thought that was fabulous.

I'm not sure about this - but I THINK that when I was a very small boy - I saw Kitty do a tour of Song of Norway that came through Dayton with the Kenley Players - but I may be mistaken about who played the lead. I was so young and it was one of my first exposures to operetta style music. Kenley players had a great line-up of stars though, and I was lucky to see them when I was so young and impressionable. Here's a list of just a few:
Lucy Arnaz in Once Upon a Mattress
Betty White in Hello Dolly
John Gavin in Dracula
someday I'll have to go through my old programs at my mom's house and see who else...
And for those of you who've worked for Jean Ann Ryan productions (she produces cruise ship shows) She played Minnie Fay in the production of Hello Dolly with Betty White!
